I imagine that I am not alone in the habit of getting wrapped up in the daily (and nightly) grind and somehow forgetting how much there is to be thankful for. I was reminded today of the why. Why I have been a student since 2008, why I have pushed for career and personal development and why I published The Purple Grasshopper.
As a parent, nothing will remind you of the why, more than an unwell child. Remembering the why does not make you less tired, less stressed or less busy, but it does make the chaos and mental clutter quieter, smaller and lighter, allowing you to focus on what really matters.
I received a few reminders today to pause, breathe and take it all in! Thank you!
